DOCX translation keeps the document container, paragraph order, tables, headers, footers, and paragraph styling where possible. Complex inline formatting may be simplified inside translated paragraphs.

This MVP does not have a file server, user database, or analytics script. Supported files are read in the browser and translated by Chrome's on-device language model.

Is this document translator free?
Yes. This MVP has no account, payment, or usage counter. Translation depends on Chrome's built-in Translator API and the language packs available on your device.
Are my documents uploaded?
No. File reading and supported translation run in your browser. Your document is not sent to this website or stored by us.
Which document formats are supported?
You can open PDF files with selectable text, DOCX, TXT, and Markdown files up to 10 MB. Scanned PDFs need OCR and are not supported in this MVP.
Does it preserve document formatting?
DOCX downloads preserve the original document container, paragraph order, and the first text style in each paragraph where possible. PDF translation preserves page order in the preview but exports as text in this MVP.
Why does my browser say translation is unavailable?
On-device translation currently requires a compatible Chrome version, a supported language pair, and enough storage for the language pack. You can still use the sample document to inspect the complete workflow.
